Our most successful Golf Day to Date!


Murphy’s Irish Pub held their 7th bi-annual Charity Golf Day at the prestigious Meadow Springs Golf & Country Club on June 6th to raise fund for local branch of People Who Care. Murphy’s ‘just for laughs’ tournament had a record number of 64 participants.
Murphy’s Charity Golf Day included bus transport too & from the pub to golf club, a few cheeky drinks, lunch, canapé dinner, awards ceremony & charity raffles & auction. Edward Janiec, owner of Murphy’s Irish Pub, is pleased to announce $7185.75 was raised for People Who Care Mandurah (South West Depot).  People Who Care is a volunteer agency provides gardening, cleaning & transport services to the aged. The funds raised will go toward essential home maintenance equipment to specifically support the aged & frail in the Peel Region.  New equipment will allow volunteers to complete their work in less time which will ultimately help more people in Mandurah.

National Winner at the AHA Awards


The prestigious Australian Hotels Association National Awards for Excellence were held at Jupiter's Casino in Surfers Paradise on 15th September 2014. It was a great honour for Murphy's Irish Pub to be nominated by Western Australia's branch of the Australian Hotels Association to take part in the national awards.
Murphy's won the AHA-AON AHA Awards for Excellence in 2013 for Community Service & Outstanding Achievement & were thrilled to be recognized as a finalist in the national awards for this same category.
Events & Marketing co-ordinator Vanessa Janiec represented Murphy's in person at the prestigious awards. She was thrilled to just rub shoulders with industries finest but we overwhelmed to accept the award on the Murphy's behalf. Other winner from Western Australia included Crown Perth & The Classroom.

AHA WA chief executive Bradley Woods said the awards showed WA's hospitality sector was being recognised as among the best in the country. "WA's tourism and hospitality offering is among the best in Australia," he said.

Global Winner !



The team from Murphy’s were the only Australians to make the trip to the Dublin conference and award night which was held on the 30th September at the Guinness Brewery.

An ecstatic Mr Janiec said he was “overjoyed and honored to be recognized in such a significant international event”.

The Irish Pubs Global is an international organisation bringing together world-class Irish pubs from around the globe.

Murphy's Irish Pub was also a nominee for the Lifetime Achievement Award, Irish Bar of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year & the Authenticity Award.
